Wetlands & Wildlife and its Public Fund are listed on the Register of Environmental Organisations and gifts of more than $2 made to the Public Fund are tax deductible.

Donations to the Public Fund are generally used to purchase land or for other capital acquisitions and also to assist us to meet our environmental objectives as well as supporting research and education.

Donations in the past have been used for:

  • Acquiring land of significant conservation value
  • Laboratory facilities & equipment for monitoring & research
  • Accommodation for researchers & visitors
  • Funding tertiary student projects
  • Specific research projects
